Description
Brunswick County is hiring a GIS Analyst for its IT Department to collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data; design, develop, and maintain GIS applications; create accurate maps and spatial visualizations; perform spatial analysis; develop customized GIS solutions; support project development, resource management, and strategic planning; collaborate with stakeholders; and provide technical support and training. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field, three to five years of GIS software experience, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online experience, ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase maintenance, basic Python and Arcade knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and CJIS Security certification.
