Description
The GIS Specialist will develop, implement, maintain, and support Geographic Information Systems for Harris County’s Risk Management and Emergency Management functions. The role analyzes spatial data, creates maps and reports, manages GIS databases and layers, troubleshoots systems, coordinates with county departments and external agencies, and provides GIS training. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of GIS experience, proficiency with GIS software and spatial analysis, and the ability to work in an office environment in Houston, Texas.
