Description
The role owns the day-to-day administration and governance of a GitHub environment, managing organizations, repositories, teams, users, permissions, access controls, branch protection, CODEOWNERS, templates, and workflows. It also supports users with Git and GitHub workflows, provides basic GitHub Actions troubleshooting, helps teams adopt Content-as-Code and Markdown-based workflows, creates documentation and onboarding materials, and identifies opportunities to improve governance and automate repetitive tasks.
