Description
The Glass Furnace Operator monitors and maintains glass-batch quality, sets furnace temperature regimes, prepares raw-material specifications, measures oxygen content and firing curves, analyzes production and quality reports, prepares emergency operating instructions, inspects and participates in furnace overhauls, supervises raw-material delivery, and commissions testing of glass and raw materials. The role requires university technical education in glass or chemical technology, at least two years of similar experience, strong English, analytical and teamwork abilities, and preferably Group III supervision and operation authorization.
