BCG is hiring a Technical Area Lead (TAL) for Legal to serve as the firm’s technical authority on legal technology. The role defines legal technology architecture and standards, leads legal technology strategy and transformation across contract lifecycle management, conflicts, compliance, knowledge management, eDiscovery, litigation support, and agentic AI, and manages vendors, platforms, resourcing, quality observability, and cross-functional alignment. The position leads chapter leads and specialists across engineering, AI, data, quality assurance, and operations, and works with Legal, enterprise architecture, risk, compliance, security, and business stakeholders. It is based in Boston or London, with approximately 50% in-person work in a BCG office or with clients, and offers a Boston base salary of $195,000–$242,500 plus bonus and benefits.
