The Global Lead, Gender Transformative Program at Orbis International leads global technical efforts to integrate gender equality and social inclusion into all aspects of Orbis's eye health programs. This role involves developing and refining the Global Gender Transformative Programming Strategy, providing technical advice to country programs, strengthening program quality through MEL integration, leading the Women Leaders in Eye Health (WLEH) initiative, fostering strategic partnerships, and mobilizing resources for gender-transformative programming.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Senior technical experience in gender equality, gender-transformative programming, and/or social inclusion in international development
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing global strategies, frameworks, and tools for gender integration.
Advising multi-country programs and virtual, multicultural teams.
Track record in gender capacity building, training, and mentorship.
Integrating gender across MEL systems, evaluations, and research.
Network in gender equality, global health, and/or development communities.
Thought leadership through publications, panels, or contributions to the sector.
Collaborating with bilateral/multilateral donors and preparing high-quality proposals.
