Metrea is hiring a Global Logistics & Customs Specialist (Australia) to manage the movement of aircraft parts, mission equipment, ground support equipment, and controlled items across domestic and international borders. The role coordinates air, sea, road, and courier freight; handles urgent AOG shipments; manages Australian customs, biosecurity, dangerous goods, temporary imports, bonded movements, and trade compliance; and maintains accurate records and performance data. Candidates need extensive experience in Australian logistics, customs, aerospace, defence logistics, or regulated industries, along with knowledge of Australian import/export requirements, biosecurity controls, dual-use and defence export controls, IATA/ICAO dangerous goods handling, and ERP/TMS/WMS systems. The position requires an AGSVA security clearance and offers private health insurance and other benefits.
