Description
Ford is hiring a global Variable Braking Systems Manager to lead the design, verification, integration, cost, quality, and program-development strategy for electronic brake booster, ESC, ECU, sensor, hydraulic, and park-brake systems. The role manages global engineering teams, oversees hardware and software system integration through product launch, leads total value management and lifetime quality initiatives, and partners with system architecture and supply-chain teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in science or engineering, at least 10 years of automotive experience, and 6+ years of vehicle system design and release experience; a master's degree and additional electronic or software-intensive vehicle-system experience are preferred. The position is a Level 4 leadership role, may require onsite work up to three days per week, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
