Description

Micron is hiring an RBPS Process Safety Engineer to lead Risk-Based Process Safety governance for High Bandwidth Memory technologies and support global development and manufacturing teams. The role involves identifying and mitigating process safety risks, supporting Management of Change, facilitating hazard analyses and investigations, and providing guidance on process safety trends and program health. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of process engineering, technology development, or process safety experience, and at least three years of RBPS or equivalent experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in process engineering, technology development, or process safety in complex manufacturing
3+ years of experience with RBPS or equivalent process safety frameworks
Experience facilitating hazard analyses, risk assessments, and root cause investigations
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced memory technologies or high-complexity semiconductor manufacturing
Strong knowledge of CCPS RBPS principles in manufacturing environments
Experience supporting technology transfer or rapid scale-up operations
Ability to handle risk for new chemistries and high-energy processes
Ability to influence across global, matrixed teams without direct authority
