Description
Lam Research is hiring a Product Engineer for its Aether Global Product Support team to provide second-line technical support for complex semiconductor equipment, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless systems. The role supports field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel; handles escalations, design, reliability, maintenance, and software bugs; supports customer installations, qualification, training, and certification; and may work at Lam factories, customer wafer fabrication sites, or in the field. The position requires extensive related experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, worldwide travel of approximately 40%, and the ability to work in cleanroom and confined-space environments. The disclosed salary range for applicants in the San Francisco Bay Area is $125,000 to $270,000.
