Description
The role manages Emerson’s WAMS supplier relationships and purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders, coordinating global forecasts and delivery performance, improving lead times and shipment modes, managing contracts and purchasing parameters, handling supplier corrective actions, maintaining supplier databases, preparing procurement reports, and supporting commodity plans. It requires at least three years of purchasing, procurement, or supply-chain experience, ERP knowledge, and strong communication skills; a bachelor’s degree and Six Sigma or Lean experience are preferred.
