Description
The Safety Expert is accountable for the scientific and clinical safety strategy, delivery, oversight, and regulatory compliance of assigned pharmaceutical assets or indications. The role leads safety physicians and scientists, manages safety deliverables such as risk management plans and periodic safety reports, supports study design and clinical program decisions, leads complex safety issues, and represents the company at global governance and regulatory forums. It requires a medical or biomedical science degree, five years of relevant clinical, safety, and risk-management experience, global regulatory submission experience, and the ability to lead and mentor safety medical directors and scientists.
