Description
Google is hiring a Global Technical Program Manager to lead data center networking infrastructure programs. The role collaborates with Site Reliability Engineering, third-party data centers, and other internal and partner teams; develops global network program processes and prioritization; supports network capacity, machine-learning infrastructure, and next-generation network deployments; and serves as a technical leader and subject matter expert. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of program-management experience, 7 years of leadership experience, and experience leading technical programs in data centers or networking technologies. Preferred qualifications include extensive cross-functional project management, formal technical program management, experience in rapidly changing technology fields, broad organizational influence, network planning and engineering, and knowledge of optical systems and machine-learning infrastructure. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia; Sunnyvale, California; or Reston, Virginia, with compensation of $240,000–$333,000 USD plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
