Description

Fairwinds Technologies is hiring an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Products and Technical Services to own the P&L and growth of its Mixed Signal and xG product families and aligned government technical services. Reporting to the CEO, the executive will lead product commercialization, portfolio prioritization, sales and market development, contract execution, organizational design, and talent development while building a path from break-even to $300 million in annual sales within five years. The role requires executive business-unit ownership, defense or federal market experience, strong financial judgment, and an active DOD TOP SECRET clearance; compensation is $200,000 to $250,000 base plus executive benefits and performance-based incentives.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Required Previous Experiences: Executive ownership of a business unit, division, product portfolio, or operating segment with accountability for revenue, margin, cash, growth, and delivery
Scaling an emerging or mid-market business through a meaningful inflection point
Taking complex technology from R&D or prototype into product launch, repeatable sales, production, delivery, support, and lifecycle management
Building or operating a product management framework, portfolio process, stage-gate model, or comparable commercialization system
Experience in the U.S. federal or defense market, including government-funded R&D, technical services, contracting, capture, and customer engagement
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in defense communications, RF, SDR, SATCOM, electronic warfare, 5G, non-terrestrial networks, C5ISR, networking, edge systems, or related technologies
Experience with SBIR, STTR, OTA, BAA, IDIQ, FAR-based contracts, or government product-transition pathways
Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one, if required for assigned programs
