Description
SpaceX is hiring a GNC Engineer to design, develop, test, and operate the Attitude Determination and Control System for Starshield satellites. The role covers GNC software and hardware, 6DOF dynamics and simulation, navigation filtering, control-system design, fault tolerance, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and integration with thermal, power, communications, and other spacecraft disciplines. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related engineering discipline, plus software development experience in C++, Python, and/or MATLAB/Simulink. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, GNC expertise, flight operations experience, and relevant clearances. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 per year depending on level, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
