Description
SpaceX is hiring a GNC Engineer, Fleet Management (Starshield) to manage the complete lifecycle of the Starshield constellation through constellation design, orbital-mechanics analysis, C++ or Python GNC algorithms, flight software, simulations, tools, and dashboards. The role also includes architecture and code reviews, performance analysis, technical documentation, on-call satellite-commanding and data-review operations, and collaboration across engineering teams. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and software development experience in C++ or Python are required; the position offers Level I and Level II base salary ranges of $125,000–$150,000 and $145,000–$175,000 per year, respectively, plus medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
