Astro Mechanica is hiring a GNC software engineer to develop guidance, navigation, and control systems for clean-sheet autonomous aircraft. The role involves building 6-DOF dynamics and simulation models, automating control design and validation, defining control architectures, supporting flight and ground testing, and correlating test results with analysis. Candidates need a master’s degree or PhD in aerospace engineering, software engineering, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, plus professional GNC development experience and proficiency in Rust, C++, or a comparable systems language and Python.
