Description
The GO Tutor Corps Teacher Residency is a school-based teaching apprenticeship program spanning 1 to 2 years. It supports individuals pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and teaching certification. Residents gain hands-on experience in partner schools under the guidance of a Mentor Teacher, blending graduate coursework with daily practice and mentorship. The program provides a $22,000 stipend, furnished housing, mentorship, and professional development. Residents co-teach, plan lessons, and engage with students while completing their MAT.
