The Principal GCP Data Engineer will lead or support large-scale data engineering solutions for clients, developing production data processing jobs, automated pipelines, architectures, and data quality controls using Google Cloud services. The role includes defining development processes, standards, Agile practices, client technical discussions, and coaching team members. Candidates need extensive experience with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Spark, Beam, data governance, CI/CD, and cloud-native data engineering, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influence skills.
