Description
The GovCon Controller will lead accounting operations for a growing government contractor in the Washington DC Metro Area, overseeing the accounting close, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash management, financial reporting, DCAA and FAR/CAS compliance, cost accounting, audits, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and ERP improvements. The role also supervises and mentors accounting staff and requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 8 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership, government contracting experience, and familiarity with government contracting regulations and ERP systems.
