Description
The Government Contracts Manager will support Howmet Aerospace’s HFS business unit by reviewing federal contracts and subcontracts for FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other government requirements; advising Account and Sales managers on compliance and contract negotiations; managing FAR/DFARS certifications and compliance processes; preparing commercial-item assertions and responses to Requests for Proposals; and training internal stakeholders. The role reports to the Director, Global Trade Compliance, requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of contract-management experience, and is based in Torrance, California with hybrid work.
