Imagination Technologies is seeking a GPU Datapath Design Engineer to join their applied research team. This role involves developing innovative mathematical components for GPU products, contributing to the XE series of GPUs, and designing optimal arithmetic hardware. The engineer will work with a team of mathematically focused professionals, requiring programming experience in languages like SystemVerilog, VHDL, C++, Python, Tcl, or shell. Prior knowledge of digital hardware is not necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CPU, DSP, or FPU architectures and debugging/testing strategies.

Experience with computer assisted proof via industry tools or automated theorem provers.
Experience with scientific computing and numerical libraries.
Knowledge of floating point arithmetic and implementation.
Experience with optimising arithmetic hardware.
Experience in GPU/CPU design and associated methodologies such as UVM.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
Experience writing your own rigorous mathematical proofs.
