Description

Qualcomm is hiring a Design Implementation Engineer for its Adreno GPU team to manage front-end implementation design challenges and methodologies. The role integrates, implements, and delivers GPU cores, collaborates with graphics microarchitecture and physical design teams, supports execution-driven tape-outs, and addresses advanced deep-sub-micron PPA targets. Candidates need strong ASIC front-end and physical design experience, digital design and RTL synthesis knowledge, EDA tool expertise, GPU microarchitecture understanding, scripting ability, and advanced debug and analytical skills.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of direct front-end implementation and physical design work experience
Hands-on experience taping out designs in sub-micron technology nodes below 10nm
Experience with industry-standard synthesis, place-and-route, and signoff tools
6+ years of software, hardware, systems, or related engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on physical design implementation experience
Knowledge of sub-micron process nodes, including FINFETs and GAA
Graphics design and development experience
Experience leading high-performance teams to aggressive PPA targets
Strong VLSI design and scripting background
