Description
Lethbridge School Division is hiring an interim, 1.00 FTE Grade 6 Learning Support/Complexity Classroom Teacher at G.S. Lakie Middle School in Lethbridge, Alberta. The teacher will support students with diverse and complex cognitive, developmental, social, academic, behavioral, and self-regulation needs in an inclusive environment, using differentiated, responsive, trauma-informed, and strength-based practices. The role includes collaborating with classroom teachers, learning support staff, and administration, implementing targeted interventions, monitoring student progress, adjusting supports, and fostering a supportive classroom. The expected start date is August 25, 2026, and applicants must hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
