Description
Whitehaven is seeking a Data Engineer for its two-year 2027 Graduate Program, which rotates across mining operations in New South Wales and Queensland and corporate offices in Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane. The role supports data quality, governance, and management; integrates and transforms enterprise data into cloud platforms using APIs and modern pipelines; maintains data assets and deployment artifacts with YAML and cloud-native tools; develops AI-powered RAG pipelines; creates Power BI dashboards and automated workflows; and collaborates with engineering, operations, and business teams. Applicants need a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with communication, teamwork, safety, and willingness to learn and work in regional or site-based locations.
