TKDA is hiring a Graduate Design Engineer for its Mining Mechanical team to develop plans, specifications, and detailed drawings for process piping and industrial ventilation systems, assist with process flow diagrams and equipment layouts, and support construction administration. The role collaborates with mechanical, structural, electrical, and civil engineering professionals on heavy-industrial projects in mining, mineral processing, aggregate, and metals. It is based in Duluth or Bloomington, Minnesota, with a typical three-days-in-office, two-days-remote hybrid arrangement and up to 15% travel. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and two to five years of progressive experience designing commercial or industrial mechanical systems; the Bloomington base salary range is $79,500 to $91,500.
