Graphcore is hiring a Graduate Performance Engineer to join in September 2027 and work from Austin, Texas. The role focuses on designing, bringing up, validating, modeling, debugging, and evaluating large-scale AI compute systems across hardware, software, and system architecture. The engineer will analyze performance bottlenecks, test improvements, and collaborate with hardware, software, validation, and systems teams. Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field completed before the role begins, foundational knowledge of software development, hardware architecture, and performance implications, and hands-on experience from coursework, labs, internships, research, student projects, or personal projects.
