Description
Axon is hiring a remote Site Reliability Engineer anywhere in Australia to build and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms and tools. The role applies SRE principles to improve system stability and performance, writes maintainable code, troubleshoots distributed cloud-native systems, supports service reliability and operational excellence, maintains documentation, and participates in on-call rotations and incident response. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, about one year of software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure experience, Australian government security clearance or the ability to obtain it, and experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, programming languages, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and AI development tools.
