Description
The General Accountant will develop, implement, test, and evaluate accounting procedures and policies in the Controller's Office, supporting Accounts Payable, Perkins/Nursing Loan activities, and university revenue accounting. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data for budgeting, maintaining endowment and fixed-asset records, reconciling ledgers and bank statements, managing receivable and collection-account reporting, recording loan-program entries, supporting month-end and year-end close, audits, and specialized projects, while maintaining related policies and procedures.
