The Grants Accounting Specialist prepares and reconciles monthly financial reports for CAA’s grant portfolio, especially Head Start and related early-childhood programs. The role monitors budgets and expenditures, forecasts spending, validates transaction coding and compliance, supports funder and audit reporting, resolves financial discrepancies, and collaborates with Finance, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and program leadership. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, grant-accounting or financial-analysis experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and NetSuite familiarity. It is an onsite role in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work possible.
