Description
The Power Systems Engineer will support GE Power Conversion and Storage business initiatives involving power electronic and power systems control for renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, STATCOMs, synchronous condensers, and large industrial drives. The role includes power-system modeling, controller tuning, technical analysis, customer support, equipment design, commissioning, troubleshooting, standards participation, and project delivery. Candidates need a master’s or PhD in electrical or electric power engineering, or a bachelor’s degree with three years of related experience, plus at least three years of professional engineering experience and proficiency with MATLAB, PSCAD, PSSE, PSLF, Python, C, and C#.
