Description
The Grinder operates chipping, grinding, cutting, band saw, abrasive saw, sand grinder, belt grinder, and portable pneumatic grinding equipment to remove projections and surplus metal from sand castings. The role also uses hand tools, may operate or load a blast cleaning machine, and reports production quantities for work orders. A high school diploma or GED and one to two years of manufacturing experience are preferred, while the position requires physical work in an extremely hot environment and successful pre-employment screening and respirator testing.
