Description
The Grinder performs grinding, cutting, beveling, and surface preparation of pipes, plates, structural steel, ducts, and metal supports; removes weld spatter, rust, paint, sharp edges, and surface defects; prepares edges for welding and fabrication; and supports welders, pipe fitters, fabricators, duct fabricators, and MEP technicians. The role requires safe use of power tools, inspection of equipment, adherence to HSE and permit-to-work requirements, proper PPE, fire-spark control, and housekeeping. Applicants need secondary-school education or relevant trade certification and at least 2–3 years of experience as a Grinder in oil-and-gas, piping, structural, fabrication, or MEP projects.
