Description
The role sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread, and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work. Responsibilities include grinding steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours, and threads; setting up truing devices; selecting speeds, feeds, and wheels; and holding work to required tolerances using grinders, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. The position requires three years of production grinding experience, including setup, and is subject to ITAR, requiring applicants to be U.S. persons.
