Description
The Grocery Manager directs and manages the grocery department to achieve sales, productivity, and profit goals. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and scheduling grocery personnel; managing merchandise ordering, inventory, pricing, billing, damaged goods, receiving, and departmental security; supporting other departments; and overseeing the entire third-shift operation. The role also requires direct store operation coverage in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director, training of overnight managers, and knowledge of management reports. A high school education and at least three years of supermarket industry experience are required.
