SSC Space is hiring a permanent Ground Segment Engineer for a hybrid role in the Netherlands. The position assesses emerging satellite communication technologies and R&D proposals, prioritises new activities, follows assigned projects as a technical point of contact and supervisor, reviews technical deliverables, participates in industry reviews, and develops expertise in a selected ground-segment technology domain. Candidates need a master's degree or equivalent in engineering, at least four years of satellite communications ground-segment experience, expertise in digitalisation technologies such as SDR, SDN, containerisation, virtualisation, interoperability, AI/ML, RF, and optical systems, and fluent English. The role offers 40-hour working hours, social security and tax registration, training, relocation support, and pension contributions.
