Intuitive Machines is hiring a Ground Software Development and Operations Engineer in Houston, Texas, to develop ground software tools, interfaces, and real-time operations console frameworks for its Lunar Data Network. The role supports real-time console operations after the launch of IM-3 and Altus-1, including troubleshooting networking and RF issues, participating in simulations and operational rehearsals, and contributing to agile software development, integration, and quality assurance. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, 3–5 years of ground software development experience, and proficiency with version control, backend frameworks, Linux, bash scripting, and JIRA. The position involves 8-hour shift work, possible overnight shifts, and participation in an on-call roster.
