Description

Blue Origin is hiring a Ground Software Engineer for its Lunar Permanence business unit. The role develops, tests, integrates, verifies, and deploys mission-operations and safety-critical ground software used in mission operations centers for Blue Moon lunar landers and related space vehicles. Responsibilities include flight and ground-system integration, mission planning, telemetry processing and display, spacecraft health monitoring and fault detection, operator training support, software architecture and documentation, build automation, continuous integration, configuration management, system qualification, simulator-based validation, and certified code releases. The position requires a software or engineering degree, at least five years of software development experience, Python and/or Rust, Linux, full-lifecycle engineering, scalable architectures, and collaboration with frontend developers using React-based frameworks.
