Description
Umbra is hiring a Ground Systems Engineer & Architect to define, design, integrate, and validate secure mission-critical ground systems for space, ISR, and national security missions. The role leads ground system architecture and technical reviews, develops COMSEC and RED/BLACK secure network designs, and supports system verification, operational testing, and customer engagement. It is a hands-on on-site position in Reston, Virginia or Arlington, Virginia requiring a TS/SCI clearance, 8-12+ years of relevant experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with preferred experience in DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
