Description
The Grounds Maintenance Laborer maintains industrial, commercial, public, recreational, and athletic grounds by mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, cleaning, repairing structures and equipment, and responding to emergency safety concerns. The full-time position is based in Fort Meade, Maryland, with core hours of 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday from September through May, and 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from June through August, and pays $24.60 per hour. The role requires at least one year of landscape maintenance experience, transportation to the worksite, independent work, background checks, drug screening, and a government security clearance, and is set aside for a person with a disability.
