Description
The Grounds Worker maintains campus grounds, athletic fields, building exteriors, walkways, parking lots, and landscaped areas at Mercer County Community College’s Trenton and West Windsor campuses. The role performs mowing, turf care, planting, pruning, irrigation and drainage maintenance, equipment operation, snow removal, storm cleanup, and outdoor safety and environmental compliance. It requires outdoor work in all weather, travel between campuses, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, and the ability to obtain pesticide and forklift certifications as needed; one year of grounds, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience is preferred.
