Description
The University is hiring a full-time Grounds Worker in Silver City to perform routine campus landscape maintenance, including mowing, pruning, planting, irrigation, equipment repair, trash removal, snow and ice control, and beautification projects. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, equivalent landscape and grounds maintenance experience, basic English, a valid New Mexico driver’s license, and completion of a defensive driving course within two months of hire. It typically involves five eight-hour days Monday through Friday, outdoor work in all seasons, and emergency response as needed.
