Description
The Grounds Maintenance Worker performs basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, and general maintenance on school and office grounds, athletic fields, and related facilities. The role also repairs playground and athletic equipment, maintains fences and irrigation systems, performs concrete and blacktop work, operates heavy construction and snow-removal equipment, and assists with grounds upkeep and special-event setup. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class C driver's license, and eligibility for a Class A commercial driver's license within six months of hire; related work experience is preferred. The position pays $17.74–$26.72 per hour and offers retirement eligibility and benefits.
