Description
The Groundskeeper assists with the maintenance, appearance, and functionality of a golf course and surrounding grounds. Duties include operating mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws; raking bunkers; mowing greens and tees; changing flags and tee markers; installing sod and planting shrubs; applying divot mix; emptying trash; and assisting with irrigation, fertilization, and new-green construction. The role requires a Maryland driver’s license, experience with hand and power tools and outdoor equipment, golf-course knowledge or interest, and availability for weekend, holiday, and early-morning work. It is a seasonal part-time position during the golf season, typically March through October, with 15–40 or more hours per week.
