Description
Rice University is hiring three full-time, benefits-eligible Groundskeepers to maintain its 300-acre campus landscape. The role performs mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, watering, weeding, tree and shrub care, minor irrigation repairs, pest-control assistance, street and parking-lot cleaning, trash removal, and other groundskeeping tasks. It is fully on-site Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional overtime and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. No formal education is required, but 0–1 years of landscaping or grounds-maintenance experience is listed; the starting salary is $18.00 per hour.
