The University Groundskeeper performs skilled and semi-skilled grounds maintenance for a university, including lawn and ornamental plant care, sod and soil work, weather mitigation, artificial turf maintenance, irrigation repair, landscaping, and equipment operation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of grounds maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and pesticide licenses within four months of employment. It is based in Youngstown, operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., may require weekends and early or evening work, and is not eligible for sponsorship.
