Description
The Groundskeeper II maintains campus roads, lots, pathways, wooded areas, landscaping, trees, irrigation, and outdoor grounds at the Quad-Cities Campus and satellite sites. The role includes snow and ice removal, equipment and vehicle maintenance, pesticide and fertilizer application, tree care, basic welding repairs, moving and assembling equipment, inventory and supply ordering, recycling coordination, and compliance with safety requirements. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of similar agriculture or horticulture experience, a valid Illinois CDL or obtaining one within 60 days, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in difficult weather conditions.
