Description
Under supervision, the role performs routine grounds maintenance and gardening for landscaped areas, including mowing, edging, trimming, watering, pruning, fertilizing, spraying, weeding, debris removal, pest control, equipment operation, and basic record keeping. The position may also assist with sprinkler system repairs, maintain equipment, provide direction to temporary and student workers, and perform related custodial duties. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience, plus the ability to obtain a California driver's license and herbicide applicator certificate, with pre-employment physical and drug testing required.
