The Utility Installation Technician installs and covers underground cables and pipes, digs trenches and work pits with machinery and hand tools, prepares connections, installs OV poles, and pulls cables for various utility services. The role requires excavator and truck-mounted crane operation, a technical diploma or equivalent practical experience, outdoor and physical work, independent and collaborative teamwork, flexible daytime availability, and occasional night or weekend work.
