Description
The employer is hiring a Groundworker to support excavator operators on excavation projects involving above- and underground cable and pipeline work and electromechanical installations. Responsibilities include preparing trial trenches, installing supports and braces, monitoring worksite safety, maintaining order and cleanliness, and performing support tasks. The role requires infrastructure-sector experience, a category B driving licence, Dutch proficiency, and willingness to work throughout Flanders; VCA, asbestos, and BA4 certificates are advantageous. Compensation is based on the construction sector and experience, with a stated starting wage of €18.747 per hour for someone with no experience as of 01/01/26, plus meal vouchers and other benefits.
